EVALUATION OF A COMBINATION OF GINGIVAL PHYSIOTHERAPY, FLOSSING, AND BRUSHING TECHNIQUE THROUGH IN-OFFICE OBSERVATION

Objective: Oral physiotherapy is described as the maintenance of oral hygiene, and its goal daily, full elimination plaque with least amount work, time, equipment feasible.
 Methods: Materials procedures In order to evaluate brushing effective duration brushing, pattern, sextants, use dental floss, 30 patients aged 18 65 were divided into two groups, one without prior instruction, other in which technique modified Stillman flossing was explained them.
 Results: Despite instruction hygiene techniques, better results found control group.
 Conclusion: Brushing clearly preserved group, although 10% had deficiencies. With this method, we can demonstrate effectiveness teaching a certain only typodont patients, probably, some additional method would strengthen skills patient.
